Black & Gold Giving Day

The Oakland University Credit Union has generously provided $100,000 in matching funds for Black & Gold Giving Day! To encourage fairness, we will be releasing half the funds 12:00am (Night Owl) and the other half at 6:00am (Early Bird). That means all gifts to all funds will be matched up to $1,000 starting at 12:00am! Thanks, OUCU!

2 donors who thanked OUCU and posted it to social media with the hashtag #OUCUDeservesCredit between midnight and 10:00pm will earn an additional $1,000 in matching funds. 2 lucky individuals who make a gift and share #Give2OU on social media before 10:00 A.M. will earn an additional $500 in matching funds. $500 will be awarded to the fund that receives the most student donations between 9am and 10pm.

$1,000 will be donated to the program with the most alumni donors between 4-5 PM!

One individual who makes a gift between 9:00am-10:00am will earn an additional $500 in matching funds.

The fund that receives the most gifts between 5-6pm will earn an additional $500 in matching funds. The fund that receives the second most gifts between 5-6pm will earn an additional $250 in matching funds.

2 OU Giving Day Ambassadors who make a gift by 2:00pm will earn an additional $500 in matching funds.

Thanks to a generous donor, gifts to the Interdisciplinary Studies Scholarship Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000! Thank you for shining a light on OU on this special day!

First-time donor gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $100 each (for a total of $5,000).

Post a photo on social media 12:00 am and 10:00 PM using the hashtags #Give2OU and #ThisisOU showing off your OU pride in Black & Gold (selfies, partners, pets, kids, and creativity all welcome!). 4 submissions will randomly be chosen to earn $250 toward the fund of their choice. Every hour between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM one random donor will recieve and additonal $250 matching to their fund of choice. (4 donors total)

2 OU young alum (age 35 years and younger within 10 years of graduation) who makes a gift by 8:00 PM will earn an additional $500 in matching funds.

OU Parents' gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $50 each, between 10am and 11am (for a total of $1,000).

One OU faculty member, staff member, or retiree who makes a gift before noon will earn an additional $500 in matching funds.

The fund with the most donors between 3-4pm wins $600. The fund with the second most donors wins $300.
